In the acquisition of basic professional skills, it is important to make all the practice on the models before seeing the patient, to make our students feel safe and sufficient. There are various fields in the Professional Skills Laboratory where our students can practice their skills. There are patient beds and models in these areas. Injection, urinary catheter, nasogastric catheter, enema applications, blood pressure measurement, movement and exercises, patient transfer, transfusion of blood and blood products, various medications to the eyes, ears and skin can be performed on these models. In this laboratory, the practices of occupational skills are carried out predominantly by the students of the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing Department. Before the students go to the clinic, first of all, the learning in this laboratory is reinforced with the help of theoretical courses.
