Staff Mobility For Teaching Assignments

Staff mobility for teaching assignments is an activity that enables academic staff who are obliged to teach at a higher education institution holding an ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education) in Türkiye to teach students at a higher education institution holding an ECHE in one of the EU member countries, with which an Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement has been signed (see: https://www.sanko.edu.tr/erasmus/ikili-anlasmalar-2/ ), and to carry out joint academic/educational activities related to teaching with the host institution.

The duration of the mobility is a minimum of 2 days and a maximum of 2 months. In order for the activity to be considered valid, a minimum of 8 teaching hours is required. In cases where the activity lasts longer than 1 week, the required compulsory teaching hours must increase proportionally to the duration (weekly duration x 8 hours). Staff mobility for teaching assignments is a day-based activity, and grants are paid only for the days on which teaching takes place. Therefore, in the Staff Mobility for Teaching – Mobility Agreement, the teaching programme must be specified on a daily basis.

In staff mobility for teaching assignments, if it is stated in the Certificate of Attendance that the beneficiary carried out the activity for less than 2 days, except in cases of force majeure, and/or taught fewer hours than required, the activity will be considered invalid and no grant payment will be made to the beneficiary.
