Student Traineeship Mobility
Student Traineeship Mobility activity is the traineeship of a student registered at a higher education institution in a business, a research institute, a laboratory or an institution or organization abroad in relation to his/her academic field of study.
1) The duration of the mobility is between 2 and 12 months, valid separately for each level of education.
2) The mobility of traineeship can be carried out in every class during the education period and within 12 months after the graduation of students in the final years of their education programs.
3) In the traineeship activity to be carried out after graduation, the application must be made before the student graduates (while still an associate, undergraduate or graduate student). Graduated students cannot apply. Post-graduation internship mobility must be completed within 12 months from the date of graduation
Examples of Suitable Traineeships Places:
Any public or private sector institution located in one of the countries where the traineeship activity can be carried out, in the labor market or in the field of education, training, youth, research and development can be an traineeship place. The following organisations are examples of suitable traineeship locations, although this is not an exhaustive list:
- small, joint-stock or large-scale enterprises belonging to the public or private sector
- local, regional or national public institutions
- embassies or consulates of the sending country abroad –
- any type of business association/union such as chambers of commerce, tradesmen-craftsmen associations, stock exchanges and trade unions -research institutes
- foundations
- schools/institutes/educational centres (any type of educational institution from pre-school to high school, including vocational training or adult education)
- non-profit organisations, associations, NGOs
- institutions providing career planning, professional consultancy and information services
higher education institutions (higher education institutions in countries associated with the Programme must have an ECHE, higher education institutions in countries not associated with the Programme must be recognised by a competent authority in accordance with their national legislation and must have signed a bilateral inter-institutional agreement with the sending institution prior to the internship activity)
The following organisations are not eligible for higher education internship activities within the scope of Erasmus+:
