Nursing Department is one of the three departments in Health Sciences Faculty at Sanko University. There are 8 departments in Nursing Faculty: Nursing Principles, Internal Medicine Nursing, Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Public Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Management in Nursing.
Nursing education lasts 4 years. Candidates who graduated from high school or equivalent and get quantitative score from Higher Education Institution Exam.
In addition to theoretical and applied courses, there are Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Sociology and Psychology lessons in Nursing Department. Students use the hospital, laboratories, health centers, and nursing home for their courses.
