The Sani Konukoğlu Foundation established the “SANKO University” with the Law No. 6492 published in the Official Gazette No. 28681 dated June 18, 2013, and “SANKO University” became ready to serve. Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department started education in 2014 and gave its first graduates in 2018. In addition, the Department of Nursing started to serve within the Graduate Education Institute in 2015 and gave its first graduates in 2017. Education is still continuing in the same program.

Practices of vocational courses in our department are carried out at SANKO University Sani Konukoğlu Practice and Research Hospital, which started operating in 1996 and signed a Cooperation and Common Use Protocol (Affiliation) with SANKO University in 2017.

SANKO University has a Quality Management System in order to ensure traceability, sustainability and continuous improvement, and to carry out institutionalism among academic/administrative staff in accordance with the conditions of “TS EN ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System Standard”.
