The aim of the programme

The aim of this programme is to train young researchers and faculty members who have comprehended the concept and methods of Medical Microbiology, who can contribute to the national and international projects, and who can project their knowledge to the scientific fields through scientific papers, articles and books.

Who can apply to the programme

Those who have a degree in one of the foloowing programmes can apply to the programme: Dentistry, Pharmaceutics, Veterinary, Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Nursing, and Nutrition and Dietetics.

Employment of graduates

Those who have successfully graduated from the programme can continue their academic studies through doctoral programmes as well as working as lecturers in the associate degree programmes. They can also work as researchers in the research and development projects supported by national and international institutions. In addition, they have job opportunities at the medical laboratories within the state or private hospitals, and in other fields of health sector (medical research and production, quality control, clinical research, product sales for diagnosis, sterilization contol etc.).
